How To Draw Up A Genealogy In The Family Tree Template
Draw up a genealogy into the family tree that aims to illustrate your family history. We can use a family tree template to categorize each generation.
Genealogy is a record or chart that illustrates the origins and family relationships for each generation. Usually, we use a map that shows lineage where the older generation is at the top. A family tree template makes it easy for us to read a genealogy.
Determine What Will Be Written On The Family Tree Template
A family that has many members will find it challenging to make a genealogy. The following is what you must do when compiling genealogy.
1. Starting with your generation
This is the basis of a family tree consisting of you, your parents, and your siblings. The family tree template is your choice. You can start from up or bottom. We can get started to draw up our genealogy by fill in the following information:
- Write down your name.
- Draw two different lines from your name to your mother’s name and from your name to your father’s name connect to the horizontal line.
- Draw lines from your parents to their names if you have siblings.
- Write down their names and connect them to the line if your siblings have a partner.
- If your sibling has children, associate it with your sibling’s name.
2. Fill in your parents’ generation
Now it’s time to fill the second generation on your family tree template.
- Write the name of your grandparents above your mother’s name. Write the name of my grandparents on top of your father’s name.
- Connect the name of your grandparents to your relatives. Connect the name of your grandparents to your brothers and sisters.
- Add more names of your uncle and aunt.
- Add names of uncles and aunts or cousins.
3. Charted your grandparents’ generation
If you have a large family, your family tree template might have been threatened beyond the edges of the paper.
- Add the name of your mother and father’s grandmother and your grandfather’s name. They are your great grandparents.
- Add names from Mother and Father Grandma from Father and Mother and Father Grandfather from Father.
- Add names from your grandparents, uncles, and great-aunts.
- Add names from your paternal grandparents – uncles and great-aunts.
- Fill in the names of your spouse and children, uncles and great-aunts.
